How to book an appointment if currently rostered
Please note:
We receive a large volume of calls. Our Team is trying our best to provide culturally safe care and appreciate your patience while we work to serve all our patients' needs.
People usually need to have an appointment to get a prescription refilled.
Last minute prescription refill requests are not guaranteed.
Practitioners usually book 1-2 weeks in advance.
Same day appointments are not guaranteed.

What to expect at your appointment
Please arrive 5 min before your appointment.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, you may be asked to reschedule your appointment.
The entrance is locked during clinic hours, so we will do health assessments before people enter. Please knock on the door and someone will be with you to conduct a COVID-19 question screening.
We are closed for lunch from 12:00 to 1:00 pm daily.
A new medical grade mask and hand sanitizer will be provided for you at the entrance.
You will be promptly welcomed into an exam room to await your practitioner visit.

Primary Care
We strive to support your determination to be holistically well.
Counselling
People rostered at the Lu’ma Medical Centre for their primary care, can self-refer for Mental Health Supports. Please email Ruth@LumaMedical.ca to discuss your wellness needs.
Social Navigation
People rostered at the Lu’ma Medical Centre for their primary care, can self-refer for support completing forms, housing applications, ID, and advocacy. Our Social Navigators can open doors of opportunity, providing referrals for programs and services offered in the community by other agencies such as food security, training, employment, taxes, justice etc.
Wellness
Our Registered Nurse team supports family wellness and prevention, offering immunizations, self-care of on-going health conditions, and infant health.
Dietitian Services
Provides individuals with the support and resources to help them nurture their well-being through food and nutrition. This service is available for people who are rostered at the Lu’ma Medical Centre for their primary care.
